  • Spiral Bound book printing for durable and heavily used books.
  • Wire-O Bound book printing, perfect for professional and sleek looking books.

Books are one of the most versatile printed materials. Whether you are looking to print an editorial book, coffee table book, photo book, wedding book or a cookbook, books have the ability to display your content in an organized way.

Although book printing often times utilizes perfect binding, it is important to remember that your books binding can include, saddle-stitch binding, spiral binding or a wire-o binding. These binding options come in an array of sizes and page counts to fit your book printing needs.

Full color printing can be provided, and we recommend that at least your books cover is in full color including the image and text to ensure it is attracting its reader as intended. We also offer black and white book printing as well for your vintage aesthetic books, product instructional manuals, user manual books, coloring books and more.

Keep in mind “book” doesn’t always mean a novel either. It is a matter of your book size, how it is assembled on machines, how it gets bound together, and so forth. Your book could easily be a guide, a coloring book, and annual report, a manual, poetry books, comic book, look book, a photo book, calendar, and editorial book, a wedding book, a cookbook, or any other idea you may have!

You can choose an aqueous coating, especially for your book cover. Glossy coated paper is popular for publications with books with many images, and gives your book printing a rich, classy look. Dull or matte coating gives your book printing a more muted, understated look, and will improve readability over gloss coating. Aqueous coatings make your book and book cover more durable, and if you are mailing your book, will improve its durability in the mailing process while providing your audience with a long-lasting book.

A heavy paper stock for you book cover is important to ensure your book covers look great for a long time. A heavy book cover stock along with an aqueous coating will maximize the lifespan of your book, giving you more opportunities to communicate your message. So, we recommend using a thicker and more protective material for the cover of your book printing.

Depending on the size, weight, binding option, and your books use, the inside pages may need to be very thin or very thick or may need to be produced at a non-standard book size. While this may require custom quoting to get the printing aspect within your budget, our team is available by phone or live chat to help you get a free quote started. It is also important that you may need to look very closely at the USPS postage rates if your book needs to be mailed to ensure the postage is within your price range. We never mark up or profit on postage when you mail us.

Folding can be as simple or complicated as you want to make it. Conquest Graphics offers all of the most common fold configurations. These include: half fold; tri-fold; z-fold; gate fold; half and then half fold; half and then tri-fold; tri-fold and then half fold; and of course the simplest – no fold.

If you have specialized requirements, please let us know before completing your order so we can ensure your job comes out the way you need it to.

Mailing Basics

"Bulk mail" is the term used by the USPS for large mailings that can qualify for reduced postage costs. This applies to commercial First Class Mail and Marketing Mail (also know as Standard Mail). Reduced prices are available for other classes of mail, too. You should know that the USPS often uses the terms "bulk" and "presorted" interchangeably.

Bulk mail costs are lower than single piece prices. A regular stamp on a letter is a single piece postage. Many mailers pay this postage rate even though they have a large mailing. This is typically because they don’t want to do the extra preparation work. So how do you decide if your own mail should take this approach or if commercial prices are better for you? And are all commercial prices the same and how much are they? The Postal Service prices are lower for bulk mailings because part of what they would do is done by someone else (for example, sorting the mail by Zip Code or transporting the mail to a destination postal facility). The benefits from "work-sharing" are realized in cost and sometimes by expediency. We are able to provide many of these services to help get your total cost as low as possible.

In order to mail at commercial prices, you need to get a mailing permit (permission to mail) and pay an annual mailing fee for each class of mail; First-Class Mail or Standard Mail. (Conquest customers, in many cases, are allowed to use Conquests’ mailing permits, which are held at multiple postal locations. Ask us how.) You can pay your USPS permit via postage by pre-canceled stamps, postage meter, or permit imprint. You also need to choose the size, shape and weight of your mail pieces, and make sure your address list is correct. Then, presort the mail pieces by Zip Code. With that done, you can take your mailings to the Post Office where you have your mailing permit.
