Haiti Scholars Inc

Haiti Scholars, Inc. is deeply committed to the enduring value of print as one of the most effective communication tools for nonprofit outreach. Since becoming a registered nonprofit in 2018, print materials have played a central role in how we share our mission, tell our story, and build relationships with our community of supporters. Through thousands of mailed letters, personalized thank-you notes, event invitations, and mission-driven campaigns, print has allowed us to communicate with authenticity, clarity, and impact.

This year marks our fifth consecutive year producing our annual Gratitude Report, a publication that has become a cornerstone of our donor communications. We take great pride in the recognition this report has received for both its design and message. The exceptional print quality consistently elevates the publication, transforming it into a visually compelling and memorable piece for supporters. As we prepare to mail this year’s final round of reports, we extend our sincere appreciation to the Conquest Graphics team. Their attention to detail, collaborative spirit, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence have made them our trusted and preferred printing partner. Their work enhances our ability to communicate our mission meaningfully and effectively.

Haiti Scholars

At Haiti Scholars, we firmly believe that education is the foundation for hope, dignity, and empowerment for children in Haiti. Beyond scholarships, our approach is intentionally holistic—addressing the many barriers that prevent children from learning and thriving. Our programs include the distribution of water filters, deworming medication, and vitamin A supplements; providing over 350 children with a healthy daily meal, often their only meal of the day; and ensuring access to a full-time nurse who delivers medical care, health checks, and essential medicine. We also support programs designed to help children cope with trauma, recognizing the emotional toll of instability and hardship. Additionally, we provide resources for a computer lab and humanitarian aid during emergencies. Each initiative reflects our commitment to serving the whole child—academically, physically, and emotionally.

Although we are a relatively small organization, our goals are ambitious. The challenges facing Haitian children continue to grow, and so does our determination to meet them with compassion and action. A grant would significantly strengthen our ability to expand outreach, reach new audiences, and deepen relationships with current and prospective donors. Expanding our print-based communications is essential to sustaining and growing the programs that create lasting change for the children and families we serve.

This past year, we expanded our outreach through an additional large-scale mailing effort, and the results surpassed expectations. Our handwritten thank-you cards made a particularly profound impact, reaffirming our belief that print carries a personal, heartfelt touch that digital communication often cannot replicate. Print remains our most valuable communication tool—one that keeps donors engaged, strengthens trust, and reinforces the shared commitment that fuels our mission. In summary, our dedication to print stems from its uniquely powerful ability to convey gratitude, share impact, and cultivate lasting connections. From the beginning, print has shaped the story of Haiti Scholars, and it will remain central to how we grow, inspire, and serve. We are deeply grateful for Conquest Graphics' exceptional partnership and support.
