Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW) is a veteran-founded non‐profit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation’s wounded military and law enforcement veterans through physical, mental, and emotional rehabilitation. Our programs help participants overcome adversity and hardship through innovation, teamwork, and perseverance. This ultimately enables the lives of our wounded military and public service veterans to go in directions they may have once thought were impossible.
In a world where digital chatter dominates, OEW keeps a bold, tangible heartbeat through print and direct mail — because sometimes a well-designed brochure or a thoughtfully addressed letter can spark a real, lasting connection.

OEW has a proven track record with print that goes beyond the page. We use informational brochures, event flyers, and promotional materials to illuminate our mission, share stories of resilience, and celebrate the amazing work happening across the veteran and first-responder communities. These physical, take-it-with-you pieces are powerful education tools: they demystify OEW’s programs, highlight the impact of donor support, and give people a concrete, tactile reminder of what we stand for.
We’re also excited by the potential of direct mail to deepen our fundraising efforts. Imagine narratives that pull at the heartstrings, paired with design that makes the message impossible to overlook. Direct mail offers an intimate, human touch — a way to create a sense of community and shared commitment that digital channels can’t always capture. While we haven’t relied on direct mail in the past, exploring it now could open doors to new supporters who crave a more personal, physical connection.
Looking ahead, OEW plans to weave print and direct mail into our strategy in a thoughtful, balanced way. Digital outreach remains essential, but print materials will continue to shine at events, conferences, and community gatherings, acting as a tangible ambassador for OEW’s mission. There’s something special about holding a piece of OEW: a reminder of the courage and resilience we celebrate, and a prompt to take action.
On the direct-mail front, we envision targeted campaigns that speak to diverse supporter segments. By embracing data-informed insights and personalization, we can tailor messages to specific groups, ensuring each recipient feels seen, understood, and moved to contribute. This isn’t about volume; it’s about relevance and resonance — crafting appeals that feel like they were written for “you.”
Print and direct mail have already helped broadcast OEW’s impact and illuminate the remarkable work of our honorees. The tangible nature of print leaves a lasting impression, turning stories of veterans’ triumphs over adversity into memorable, shareable moments. When donors see the real faces and real lives behind the programs, their willingness to support grows stronger and more enduring.
And let’s not forget the reach of traditional channels. For audiences less active online or who simply prefer a physical medium, print and direct mail ensure OEW is accessible to everyone who shares a passion for honoring those who sacrificed for our nation. A diversified outreach approach means we meet people where they are — and invite them to become part of a broader, enduring community.
In short, OEW recognizes the enduring power of print and direct mail in advancing our mission. By blending the tangible appeal of printed pieces with the personal touch of direct mail, we don’t just fundraise — we build a community deeply connected to the cause. As technology evolves, Operation Enduring Warrior remains committed to a multi-faceted outreach strategy that honors our veterans, supports our first responders, and invites more Americans to stand with them.
