Since 2019, we have published Musicwoman Magazine featuring our musical members. We have received a free printing grant from Conquest Graphics for several years. Without this printing grant, we would not be able to provide printed copies of our magazine to our members, writers, advertisers, and supporters.

The best thing about this grant is how Conquest Graphics can mail multiple copies to our distributors countrywide. For example, we have members in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Dallas, and other cities who receive a box of magazines and either mail or hand-deliver the magazines to other members, saving us postage and time.

In 2026, when financial issues arose for most of the country, we were unable to produce our two publications – Musicwoman and Musicman. However, we’re gearing up for our 20th Anniversary in 2027, when we will be on board to publish both magazines. Our membership has risen to 454, with 79 men, 296 musicians, and 26 Lifetime Members who will be featured in 2027.

Words cannot express how we deeply appreciate this opportunity to push our mission forward through the digital and print mediums. We thank Conquest Graphics for their vision and generosity that is ongoing and truly serves the nonprofit sector in a meaningful way.

Our members are in 29 states and 23 countries. We’ve featured women musicians from South Africa, Sweden, Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Ghana, Spain, Switzerland, and several states in the USA. Each person has reported that they are honored and pleased to be a part of this project which is all the more beautiful because of the professionalism of the staff at Conquest Graphics.

In 2025, one member started a trend by soliciting donations from business associates she patronizes. She raised $1,100 to be on the cover, starting a tradition of a contest that will allow WIJSF to raise funds each year for the nonprofit. We are so grateful to our graphic designer Jodylynn Talevi, who has created such gorgeous images and formatted our stories into pleasant and readable articles.

In this digital environment, it’s easy to share the publications on social media. However, I so enjoy watching people thumb through the magazines and tell us how much they like the quality of the publications. Many of the men in Musicman Magazine have become members to support our mission. Few people understand how women musicians are marginalized and this printing grant has enabled us to educate the world about women who have dedicated their lives to creating beautiful music. We are proud of the work our writers have done to bring their stories to life in the magazines. Also, we are happy to feature the men who understand our mission and are willing to join us in our struggle to gain recognition for women musicians.
