Tip #4: Contact Information

Depending on who you are and how you work, a business card will typically include:

• Person’s name
• Job title
• Company name
• Email
• Telephone (landline and cell)
• Fax
• Website address
• Physical mailing address

In addition, you should consider other information being included such as Skype or instant messaging id.  You can also look at the problem in reverse: you may only want people to contact you in one set way.  If you only want contact through email – simply use your email address on the card, and in some instances you may only wish to use your name and company (though as an aide memoire for how to contact you in future, this does defeat the object of the card itself).
