The word discount precedes just about everything you are thinking of buying. Everyone
wants your business, and the magic word is discount. (The only magical word which
trumps discount is the word free.)
At Conquest Graphics, we do offer discounts from time to time for a variety of reasons.
It may be a discount designed to attract new customers, or it may be a discount
designed to turn an infrequent customer into a more regular one.
You’ll come for the discount; you’ll stay for the service
But what you’ll find if you work with us over a long period of time is that you
will eventually settle into a comfortable routine and a level of trust which supersedes
considerations merely of price. If you ask us to do more – such as expanding the
number of pages or improve the quality of the paper, we may of course charge more.
You may find that some of our suggestions improve the presentation. You may find
that some of our suggestions are worth far more than the price we charge. As our
working relationship develops, and you see how much we can do for you, you may come
to the conclusion that Conquest Graphics offers a value that easily exceeds the
price.
We don’t, however, discount the importance of the environment
There has been a lot of buzz about green printing in the past few years. It seems
like everyone in the industry wants to get on the green printing and eco friendly
printing bandwagon. The sad thing is that a lot of online printing companies talk
a good talk about being green printers and environmentally friendly printing initiatives,
but don’t really walk the walk. How can a business owner or business professional
tell the difference between an environmentally responsible online printing company,
and the ones that are just “green washing”?
Take a look at the websites of online printing services. Almost all of them mention
“going green” or “sustainable printing” practices. Very few of them will have information
about their green printer certification status. An online discount printing service
that is serious about green printing and environmental stewardship will be FSC-certified.
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international organization that helps
ensure that paper and other wood products are sourced from well-managed forests,
and that the wood was not harvested from clear-cutting operations, or from rain
forests, or disturbed or took advantage of indigenous peoples who live in and around
the forested lands.
