Q) How can I get in touch with Conquest Graphics?

A) Please visit our Contact Us page for more information.

Q) What are your normal business hours?

A) Our business hours are from 8 am - 7 pm (EST), Monday – Friday (excluding Holidays); however you may send an email, or place an on-line order at anytime.

Q) What’s the deal with NCOA?

A) Starting Monday, November 23rd, 2008, the USPS mandated that all discounted mail (any mail that isn’t stamped with a first class stamp, or metered with full price postage) comply with the National Change of Address (NCOA) requirements. Please refer to our Mailing Services FAQ page for more details.

Q) What is Conquest Graphics’ State Sales Tax policy?

A) Virginia residents who ship their product to a Virginia address will be charged sales tax, as will Utah residents who ship products to a Utah address. If you have a valid Virginia or Utah Tax Exempt Certificate, please send certificate information to customerservice@conquestgraphics.com or fax to 1-804-644-3502 and we will arrange to credit your sales tax amount.

Q) Does Conquest Graphics accept international orders?

A) Yes, we do accept and ship international orders, however we adhere strictly to custom requirements and do not accept international orders online. Please call 1-800-707-9903,, or contact us at customerservice@conquestgraphics.com for pricing.

Q) What's the ordering process for Conquest Graphics?

A) Ordering at Conquest is easy! Select the product type you would like to have printed (brochures, postcards, door hangers, etc.). Specify the appropriate options from the drop down menus (quantity, size, fold, etc.). Supply a custom job name and any special instructions. If you want to know your shipping costs enter a zip code and select from the menu of available options. Click the "Add to Cart" button to move the specified job to your shopping cart where you can immediately checkout or continue shopping. When you're ready to purchase, your shopping cart is ready to go. During the checkout process you will be asked to create an account and provide your name, daytime phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and credit card information. You will receive a confirmation email and be prompted to upload your printing files and any mailing databases. Within one business day you will receive an email with a link to view and approve your proof. Once you approve your proof it is off to the press room and your printed product will arrive at your doorstep in just a few short days.

Q) What file formats do you accept?

A) Please refer to the File Preparation Guide for more details.

Q) What kind of paper will my project be printed on?

A) In many cases you can select a specific paper weight or finish as part of the ordering process. General information regarding paper weights, finishes and grades is available in the help link next to the paper option – just click the question mark in the small blue circle. You may also refer to the Paper Selection Information section in the Help Center for additional paper selection details. If you are interested in a paper not listed on our website, call 1-800-707-9903, or contact us at customerservice@conquestgraphics.com.

Q) Can I print my project on uncoated paper?

A) We print on coated paper as a standard selection for all of our products except business cards, where we offer a choice of coated and uncoated paper stocks. If you want your project to print on an uncoated paper, please call us at 1-800-707-9903, or contact us at customerservice@conquestgraphics.com. Please note that when printing on uncoated paper, we cannot guarantee color match due to the tendency of uncoated papers to absorb more ink than our coated papers. Coated papers will generally yield a superior result for projects that require moderate or heavy ink coverage. Some projects can be printed on C1S (Coated 1 Side) paper stocks. The same issues apply to the uncoated side of a C1S that apply to any uncoated paper. Also, C1S stocks tend to be more prone to paper curl than stocks that are coated on both sides. We are not responsible for paper curl that occurs when printing on C1S papers.

Q) I don’t see perfect binding as an option. Does Conquest Graphics offer perfect binding?
A) We don’t offer perfect binding as a standard binding option, but if you have a project that requires perfect binding, we can certainly do it for you. Please contact us at customerservice@conquestgraphics.com or call us at 1-800-707-9903 if you have a perfect bound project or have questions about perfect binding. Please note that although perfect binding is a durable, high-quality binding method, we have no control over how perfect bound products are used or handled after they are delivered, and we are not responsible for page pull out, or cracking of perfect bound products.

Q) Will my printed product match my monitor and/or a proof that I print from my color printer?

A) Probably not. Monitors display colors in the RGB (additive) color space, and printing is based on the CMYK (subtractive) color space. Colors can shift dramatically when transformed from one space to another. Monitors are not well-suited for making critical color judgments or evaluations, but they are perfectly acceptable for making basic color and layout decisions (i.e. If you specify an object on a page as green, it should appear as some shade of green). Color ink jet or desktop laser printers are generally poor predictors of offset printed colors. They have no ability to be calibrated, and color consistency is highly variable (ever notice how crummy your ink jet output looks when the ink cartridges are low?). Your printed pieces may not match a monitor or an ink jet print, but rest assured that it will definitely look better!

Q) How long will it take to get my proof?

A) You should receive an email with a link to your proof within 1 business day of uploading your file. Remember to check the box telling us that uploading is complete!

Q) How long will it take to receive my order?

A) Most jobs ship 5 to 7 business days after proof approval. You have the ability to request Rush production on some print jobs, which reduces production time by 1-2 business days. Shipping can take anywhere from 1 to 5 days depending on your location and the shipping option you select. Please refer to our Turnaround Time calculator for more details.

Q) Will I always receive exactly the quantity I order?
A) In most cases, we will ship you a slightly higher quantity than you ordered, at no additional charge. Sometimes, we may ship a slightly smaller quantity than you ordered. Printing industry trade standards allow for overages and underages of up to 5%. If you will be sending your print order to a mailing processor or need a guaranteed quantity, we suggest that you order at least 5% over the minimum quantity you need.

We digitally weigh all orders that leave our facilities to ensure that the correct number of pieces are delivered to our customers, or to outside mail processors. We are not responsible for errors, waste, or spoilage that occurs at outside operations like mail processors.

Q) If I have a mailing list, can Conquest Graphics mail my project?

A) Absolutely, yes! Please refer to our Mailing Services page for more details. You can include your mailing list as part of the file upload process available after ordering.

Q) How can I decide which CMYK colors to use, and how will they look when printed?

A) You can purchase a Pantone Swatch book.

Q) Should I perform my own trapping and/or imposition?

A) We ask that you please do not set traps, or attempt to impose your files. Our prepress system automatically calculates optimum trapping settings and imposition. Please refer to the File Preparation Guide for more details.

Q) Where can I find someone to design my project, or supply photography?

A) Call us at 1-800-707-9903, or contact us at customerservice@conquestgraphics.com.

Q) What is Conquest Graphics’ privacy policy?

A) Please refer to our Privacy Policy page for more information.

Q) What is Conquest Graphics’ security policy?

A) Conquest Graphics employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology when transmitting your personal information. This can be confirmed by looking at the website address which should start with "https". The "s" lets you know you are on a secure site. Many browsers also add a closed padlock to the browser window. This can be found in the lower right corner of Internet Explorer 6 and on the far right side of the web address in Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox. As add added precaution, Conquest Graphics does not save your credit card information on our servers, so there is no need to fear a security breech within our company. If you believe that your credit card has been used fraudulently as a result of a business transaction with Conquest Graphics, please contact us immediately at 1-800-707-9903, or at support@conquestgraphics.com.
