About Us

In 2006, we decided to expand our 85-year old commercial printing business to the internet. We already had an excellent reputation for quality and service, so why not offer commercial quality printing at discount printing prices to the rest of the world?

What you may not know about us is that we are one of the oldest and largest privately-held printing companies in the nation. We operate out of two modern, energy-efficient, and secure facilities in Richmond, VA and Salt Lake City, UT with a total of over 120,000 SF of manufacturing space. We have been in business for nearly a century, so you don’t have to worry about whether or not we will be around next month or next year. We also care about the environment, and we employ Green Printing methods throughout our operation. You can rest assured that when you do business with Conquest Graphics, you are dealing with a stable, reputable, and responsible company.

You shouldn’t have to sacrifice quality for great pricing, nor should you have to pay a premium for great quality. Value in print – that’s the Conquest Graphics difference. Our goal is to provide our customers with quality products and services, as well as a quality experience. You can count on Conquest Graphics to respect privacy, and to deal with our customers with absolute integrity. We will never charge you for products and services you didn’t specifically ask for.

Our History

Conquest Graphics got its start on January 2, 1922, as Lewis Printing Company. The first office and plant were located on the first floor at 21 North 12th Street in downtown Richmond, Virginia.

The rapidly expanding business quickly outgrew this space, and in 1926, moved to 1107 East Cary Street.

Over the next 38 years, Lewis Printing Company continued to grow and prosper. In February of 1964, the company moved into a spacious and modern plant at 900 West Leigh Street, where it would continue to operate for another 42 years.

In 1990, Lewis Printing Company became Lewis Creative Technologies, to reflect the changing market, and to more accurately describe what the company did. By this time, LCT had fully embraced the digital age, and was positioning itself to be the company it is today.

In September of 2006, LCT was once again on the move. This time, the company took occupancy of a modern, spacious, 90,000 square foot building in eastern Henrico county, near the Richmond city limits, and adjacent to the Richmond International Raceway. This outstanding facility provides the foundation for our current operation, and will allow for significant future growth.

Also in 2006, Conquest Graphics launched its e-commerce printing website. We saw that more and more products and services were being bought and sold online, so why not commercial-quality printed products?

In January of 2012, Lewis Creative Technologies acquired Lorraine Press in Salt Lake City, Utah, in order to better serve our growing national customer base and to provide faster service to our clients on the west coast.

Lorraine Press, founded in 1946 by Harry B. Miller upon his return from WWII, was named after Mr. Miller’s division insignia, the Cross of Lorraine. Lorraine Press continued to operate and grow in Salt Lake City, until its acquisition by Lewis Creative Technologies.

Today, we continue to focus on leveraging technology to facilitate highly-efficient manufacturing methods and internal work processes. Our unwavering commitment to efficiency allows us to offer the highest quality printed products at the lowest possible cost.

At Conquest Graphics, we are extremely proud of our 90 year history, yet we look forward to the challenges of the future.
